If another person cannot open or view your Zwyn Tag as expected, the cause is usually the tag state, access settings, sign-in requirements, or the public link itself. Work through these checks in order.

1. Check the tag state

• The tag should normally be Active before visitors can use it as a public tag.
• If the tag is Disabled, reactivate it from the State page before testing the public link again.
• An unclaimed tag does not yet behave like a configured owner-managed public profile. Claim and configure the tag first.

2. Check who is allowed to view the profile

• If anyone with the tag link should be able to view the profile, make sure public visitors have profile-view access.
• If profile access is limited to signed-in users, visitors will need to sign in before they can continue.
• Make sure any access changes were saved. Unsaved changes do not affect the public tag.

3. Profile and entry access can be different

Being able to view the tag profile does not automatically mean the same visitor can view or create entries. Profile access and entry permissions are configured separately.

4. Check the public link

• Check that the public tag ID in the URL is correct.
• If the problem occurs after scanning, try opening the public Zwyn Tag link directly to separate a tag-access problem from a QR or NFC problem.
• Reload the public page after changing the tag state or access settings.

5. Test as a real visitor

• Open the public tag link in a private browser window to test the experience without your owner session.
• Remember that the tag owner can have more access than a public visitor or signed-in non-owner user.
