Profile blocks

Learn how profile blocks build the visible public profile of a Zwyn Tag.

Profile blocks are the visible content pieces on a Zwyn Tag profile. They define what visitors see when they open the public tag page.

Each block has its own content and layout position. This lets a profile show simple information, visual sections, images, links, and structured details without needing a custom page for every tag.

What profile blocks can contain

  • Text blocks can show descriptions, notes, names, instructions, or other plain information.
  • Image blocks can show photos, documents, object pictures, pet pictures, or visual proof.
  • Link blocks can point visitors to websites, e-mail addresses, phone numbers, or other contact options.
  • Label and icon blocks can structure the profile, highlight sections, or make important information easier to scan.
  • Value blocks can show structured information such as numbers, dates, yes/no values, or other small details.

What visitors see

Visitors only see the profile content that is allowed by the tag access settings. If the profile is public, it can open directly after scanning. If access is restricted, visitors may need additional permission before content is shown.

What owners can change

  • Owners can edit the content of profile blocks, such as text, links, images, labels, or values.
  • Owners can arrange blocks in the profile layout so important information appears in the right place.
  • Owners can combine profile blocks with the tag theme to create a consistent public appearance.

Profile blocks are for public-facing information

Use profile blocks for information visitors should see on the tag page. Use entries when you need records, history, reports, or updates over time.
